Questions prescribers ask us
What is pharmacy compounding?
Compounding is the preparation of a medication tailored to an individual patient, pursuant to a valid prescription and following USP standards. It allows strengths, dosage forms and combinations that are not available commercially.
Where do you ship?
Contact us to confirm availability for your state. We will let you know exactly where we can ship before you send a prescription.
Can I see the certificate of analysis before I prescribe?
Yes. Ask for the most recent COA for any preparation and we will send it. Every shipment also includes the COA for the lot dispensed.
How do I send a prescription?
Open a prescriber account and we will walk you through how to send prescriptions. New prescribers complete a short onboarding so we can verify credentials.
What is your turnaround time?
Typically 2–3 business days from a verified prescription to shipment. We tell you immediately if anything will be later.
Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are prepared individually under a prescriber’s direction. We follow USP standards and state regulations and test independently to ensure quality.
Do you work with med-spas and wellness practices?
Yes, provided prescriptions are written by a licensed prescriber and comply with Texas law. We are happy to review your workflow and advise on compliant documentation.
